MetteZ, also known as Bjorn Mertens, is a Belgian DJ who discovered Daft Punk at the age of 6 and immediately fell in love with electronic dance music. His interest in music grew over the years, but always gave priority to his “sports career”.
Finally, MetteZ bought his first DJ controller in 2018 and immediately started experimenting. He soon discovered that he had a talent for this and decided to gain more experience at the Belgium Dj School.
Later he was asked to join the Belgium Dj Agency.

His sound consists of a blend of deep-tech & progressive-melodic that can make the crowd feel like floating as well as vibin’.

MetteZ is a resident DJ at Bloq events and played at Hype’O dream, Tomorrowland (cargo bike stage), Club Versuz, Area V, Cargo Club, Genk On Stage, etc…

He has been a resident for Profound Radio which is based in the Uk for 1 year, with a live set every week and a live set twice for Toptechno (TopRadio) based in Belgium
